Does Mass Transfer Pick up Retired Assets?

Hi All-

We've got about 1000 assets to transfer to a new company and our user is concerned that the Mass Transfer program will pick up retired assets as well, which she doesn't want. In the Mass Change program, the form allows you to specify if you want to include retired assets but there's no such checkbox on the Mass Transfer form.

Does anybody know offhand if this will pick up retired assets and if so, is there a straightforward way to exclude them
