RPC Patching

HI,

We are planning to apply RPC, our current application version is R12.1.3, we have found two different notes for the  same DOC ID 954704.1 and DOC ID 1986065.1.

There is a confusion which document to follow, DOC ID 1986065.1 has one single consolidated RPC patch where as DOC ID 954704.1 has module specific RPC patches, please advise.
