Customize Deposit Advice XML Sort

We are running Oracle Payroll in Canada and using Deposit Advices XML functionality to print deposit advices.  We need to sort the deposit advices by a field in assignment DFF instead of org and employee name.  I opened a SR with Support and they said Oracle is not supporting of customizing the sort for Deposit Advices XML for now.  I also found there was an option by modifying the seeded pay_us_deposit_advice_pkg package but Oracle will not support it.  And it might not be for Canada.  Have anyone done this and please let me know how you did it?
