P0901 / F0901 Global update of category codes?

I think I asked this before, so I think I know the answer:

Is there a global update of category codes?

The scenario:

We have several model business units set up with model charts of account.

Let's say one is a bu type of SS for a selling business unit. One is SA for administration business units. One is OP for operational business units. etc. We have about 8 of them.

We have SSMODEL set up. Let's say we copy from SSMODEL to all the selling business units.

Now we need to update a category code. We change it in the model SSMODEL. Any new business units will have the updated category code.
