BI PUblisher 11g report - multiple sessions in Database

Hi Team,

We have installed and applied latest patches on OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1, we are using BI publisher 11.1.1.7.1 also as a standalone (not integrated with Siebel).

When we run a BIP "xyz" report at the first time we can see one SID (225) created for that "xyz" report in the database, after couple of minutes we have seen one more SID (226) in the database for the same report "xyz" (both SQLs are same). kindly let me know is this is normal behavior ? or It should be only one SID for a report ?

Because of this CPU utilization going to high in our database when we run the "xyz" report, kindly help us to fix this issue.
