Replacing and licensing an HP LTO4 Fibre Drive

i have replaced, licensed, and enrolled T10k tape drives before and never an HP LTO4 drive. Can you tell me if its necessary to re license the new drive, and if so where is the encryption key? i do not see it on the CRc site.
