update oracle database 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.1

Hi

1 ) the transition to the new version (11.2.0.1)

I can put the new version over the old database (10.2.0.4)?

If possible i can during the upgrade will convert your database?

else

2 ) I can install the new version of the database (11.2.0.1), restore a backup of the database from the old version (10.2.0.4)?

and then how - some way to convert the database?
