Java error on reports that were fine

We are having another weird issue.  We have a few of our reports that have always been fine that now are giving a java error when we try to refresh them in Workspace or open them in Financial Reporting Studio.  We get     ; nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException which is not overly helpful.  We did upgrade java on our PCs but I would think if that were the issue, it should affect all of the reports.  If anyone has any idea where we could start looking I would greatly appreciate the help.
