Using Addtl EE Number field for upload to F06116Z1-Time Entry

We are trying to upload time entry into the F06116Z1 using the batch process.  We want to use the Additional Employee Number, rather than the JDE EE number as that is the value in the Time and Attendance system.  We have the Addl EE Number with a '/' in front of it in the VLPANP field and the VLAN8 field blank, but the upload is not working. The Additional EE Number comes in with no '/'.  Is anyone out their uploading using the Addl EE Number field?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
