How to get alert on mail if EDI orders get stuck in error correction form

How to get alert on mail if EDI orders get stuck in error correction form. I know we can acheive it by Alert Manager, but dont know how to setup that, It would be of great help if anyone can provide steps to do this. Thanks!!
