how to remove suspended USB pool?

edited Sep 28, 2015 2:09AM in Oracle Solaris ZFS File System (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓

Attached an USB external HDD. started copying data on to it. as of sudden ZFS pool got suspended for too many errors. I am not able detect external USB HDD. Hence removed it and copied data in alternative way.

Now still USBPOOL is there in suspended mode. not able to destroy it. commands like df -h are getting hanged. how to remove this pool?

pool: usbpool

state: SUSPENDED

status: One or more devices are faulted in response to IO failures.

action: Make sure the affected devices are connected, then run 'zpool clear'.
