Murach's Oracle SQL and PL/SQL File install

Server: Oracle VM 4.3.30

DB: Oracle 12.1.0.2.0

Linux: Oracle Linux 7.1

Problem: I am trying to install files downloaded from Murach's website for his book.  I have downloaded files, but don't know how to install those files and get the necessary DB and Tables.  Book says to click on the setup_database.bat file to install everything, but I am assuming that is for Windows. I am on Linux machine.  Should I run  " setup_database.sql" ?  If yes, than how should I run it?
