Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. I have a RAC database 11.2.0.3.0 on AIX that does backups on ASM disks against own controlfile (as opposed to catalog).

I want to do a test recovery into another server. Once cloned onto the other server it can be a standalone on OS filesystem.

This is a test recovery in case we lose the server and have no access to it.

Any suggestions ?
