5 clusters in HFM system - What is the impact?

Hi,

Our client has a system with 2 clusters , one for reporting with 2 servers and the second one for consolidation with one server in it. However, the servers are also registered as clusters. I suspect this will cause performance issues as it will take that much longer to sync up the clusters. Is that a correct assumption. Is there any other impact?
