Storing Actuals per Period using SDK

I am an IT manager with basic PM knowledge, so need some help with how we can produce a resource S curve.
My understanding in P6 is that we would need to take regular baselines which record the budget, actual and progress markup, then plot these baselines over time to get a S Curve. As an alternative to this we already store our progress markups by period in a separate system, but P6 currently doesn't store actuals by period so I don't have all the information I need to generate our own S curves.

We are currently using EPPM 15.1.4 for which I have developed an interface to our Infor ERP Ln system using the SDK.

Howdy, Stranger!
