Uploading of opening GL balances

Hello community

I have a question on uploading opening General ledger balances into JDE. Does anyone have the process to upload the opening trial balance e.g for a golive? I have heard it is done by a JE but is there a process or any special accounts which have to be created. This is for 9.1.5
