Question about PCI card replacement on M6-32

Hi,

we need to replace 8Gb FC card with 16Gb FC card into several PDOM of an M6-32.

Customer has 4 PDOM with all slot fully populated, mainly with 8Gb cards.

They want to replace few of them with newer 16Gb FC in order to use new features available with SR-IOV and VF.

The actual card are not being used at the moment and when replaced they will be allocated to CDOM and additional IODOM.

If there is an existing LDOM already running (based on other root complex) is it required to stop the LDOM ?

We can reboot CDOM and IODOM one at time without problem, because virtualized boot disk/network for existing LDOM are provided either from CDOM and IODOM, but we need to avoid stopping the whole PDOM.
