I have Linux 6.6 mount points owned by oracle:dba. Should the mounts points be owned by root:bin?
I have an Linux 6.6 redhat environment. I will be installing Oracle 12c, OEM12c agents and GoldenGate on the hosts. The Linux administrator provided an number of mount points with logical storage volumes. The mount points are owned by oracle:dba. I have not seen this before. Normally I see the mount points owned by root:root or root:bin. Oracle then owns the directory structures beneath
Question: Will this cause issue with agent activity or Opatching when oracle owns the mount points example: /u01,/u02...u11?
