Suspense Correction Page in a Closed Period

One of our end users fixed their "Error Suspense" with a regular Journal Entry as opposed to using the Error Suspense Correction Page.   So the accounting is correct, but I can't find an easy way to simply eliminate the offending JE from the Error Suspense page.  It was a prior period...I don't really want to open up a closed period simply to eliminate that Entry, but perhaps that all I can do?
