WO Originator (ANO)

Hi all

I have a requirement from a client to make the Originator (ANO) field editable due to an issue they experience when an employee either leaves the company altogether or moves from one division to another, which affects their access/security.  The Originator (ANO) field is validated against the Address Book and gives a hard error if the address book record does not have the required access/security, since the employee has either left the company or moved to another division.

What are the options to make the field editable?  Is this advisable at all?  What are the implications?
