Smart View error: EPMHFM-7274

I am using Smart View 11125410 with HFM 11.1.2.4 and even though we increased the time out session for WebLogic and HFM to 8 hours I continue to get the error: "EPMHFM-7274: Invalid session ID. Your session may have expired, or your administrator may have logged you out.  Please try again."

When I try to log back into the session I cannot as I have to close the excel file all together, reopen it and then reconnect. 

Does anyone have a resolution for this.
