High Level Example:

An employee has multiple assignments:

•Primary assignment A (Permanent position, costing 101)

•Secondary assignment B (Casual academic position, costing 202)

•Secondary assignment C (Casual support position, costing 303)

Employee is paid:

Ordinary earnings $1000 (assignment A)

Casual aca hours $800 (assignment

Casual support hours $400 (assignment c)

Superannuation is calculated

•17% on permanent earnings (0.17 * $1000 = $170)

•9.5% on Casual Aca earnings (0.095 * $800 = $76)

•9.5% on Casual Sup earnings (0.095 * $400 = $38)

Total super = $284

Current setup

-------------

The Super element costing at the element link level is type 'Costed'. The employer superannuation contribution are costed to the PRIMARY. That is, $284 ($170 + $76 + $38) is costed to cost code 101.
