R12.2.4 Unable to add new field to table settings when creating a new view

We are using Oracle R12.2.4, and with this new reléase Oracle has introduced a new feature for the user interface.

To hide or add a column to the table we have to use the table settings, but like in the previous reléase you could also add a new column by clicking on the button 'Personalize' to créate your own view. In R12.2.4 it is still posible to do this, however if the new column is not listed in the table settings then it will not appear in the output for the new creare view.

Anyone knows how this woprks in R12.2.4 to add a new column from the front-end application, the same we it worked in earlier releases.
