Oracle ASCP calculates Day 1 in plan output as per Server Timezone and not as per Client Timezone

Hi,

The manufacturing plant for which we are implementing Oracle ASCP is in Europe ... in CET timezone. However, the servers for their EBS as well as ASCP instances are in US East Coast ... in EST timezone. Thus, there is a difference of 6 hours between server timezone and client timezone.

We've set the profiles as below ...

Server Timezone = GMT (-5:00)

Client Timezone = GMT (+1:00)

Enable Timezone Conversions = Yes

The value for the field GMT Difference in Advanced Planning Administrator > Instances is set as -5 ... thus indicating server timezone.

The manufacturing plants want the ASCP plan output to be available before 6am CET which is start of their first shift.

Howdy, Stranger!
