Is it possible to run standard reports on end dated code segments?

Is it possible to run a standard report on end date code segments. We end date a cost centre or account code in the event of a service being closed to prevent any further transactions going agaisnt it. However, we often need to report on the previous years transaction. When we enter an end dated code in parameters we have the error message - Value ****** segment has expired. Is there any way that we can reprot on end dated codes?
