Any idea how a list value can show on the front end, but not the back end?

I have a list of values on Page Three, that if I create a new item and assign it a value from that list, it pulls up with the item showing correctly.

But if I query the Page_Three table for that newly created item_ID, I don't see any ID Values different than before I selected it and saved it.  I know it sounds weird....

I'm trying to establish where the value is being held, and unfortunately, the list creator did not leave the ATTRIBUTE for the list (They renamed it), so it doesn't show PAGE_THREE.LIST18 for example.
