R12.1.3 INV: Item catalog default values

Hello,

I am setting up Item catalogs with multiple descriptive elements.

Did any of you achieved to put some validation or LOV here?

Let's say that I want to keep in the catalog the item color. The only possible values are Blue, Green and White.  So I want to prevent users to put any other color and I would like them to pick it from a list of values.

Any ideas how to achieve this would be much appreciated.
