R9840C Open Table Failed - From DataSource when running as instructed by special instructions for pl

Hello,

I am trying to understand the "Refresh CNC Data in JDEPLAN" step in the special instructions for JM17096.  Two parts to my question.  First, could someone either point me to documentation or explain what exactly is being done in this step?  We do have a QA environment so I believe I need to perform these tasks in order for the AIS to work for that environment?  When I run R9840C I am marking the to append not overwrite.  I receive the output Open Table Failed - From DataSource for all the tables that show up on the report (F0094, F0094,
