Is there any API to update Amortization Date and Flag? Need to use the API to interface the amortiza

Is there any API to update Amortization Date and Flag? Need to use the API to interface the amortization updates from outside system to Oracle FA? I tried to explore the API FA_ADJUSTMENT_PUB.do_adjustment, but there is no amortization field in FA_API_TYPES.asset_fin_rec_type. Please help.
