Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. I installed our first X5-2 server, and I'm not sure which setup must be done for the "Choose network interface to use for management of this machine"

do I just setup staic IP on eth0 or do I need to select VLAN on eth0 ?

What setup should be asked to the network team managing the switch (VLAN or not VLAN) ?
