API to approve the cycle count entries of items.

Hi Oracle EBS Experts,

We have a requirement to approve or reject the cycle count entries from a pl/sql program which in tern would be triggered from custom workflow.

I have managed to find a public  API  "MTL_CCEOI_ACTION_PUB" releated to cycle count processing.

Can anybody help to answer , whether this API can also be used to Approve the CC entries?

If no , then is there any work around , anyone would like to suggest?

If yes , appreciate if any one would explain , how to use to for our requirement.
