Regular price change during clearance (14.0.2)

Can someone clarify what is the expected outcome of Regular price change while item is on clearance?

This is scenario:

1. Regular item price is 100

2. Create clearance and set it to 10% Off, active on Day1. Set clearance reset date on Day 30.

3. Create regular price change and set item price to 200, effective on Day 5

In price inquiry, RPM is showing that after regular price change, price is back to regular, no more clearance on item.

The issue is - clearance reset day hasn't been moved to regular price change day, but remains 30 after the original clearance.

In integration we don't receive any information that clearance is stopped, so on pos item is still on original clearance price (not even on 10% based on new retail price)
