Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. The pricing date gets defaulted from Order date

Hi

How can I make the pricing date in the order (pricing tab) defaults from Order date (in the order header)

The business reason for this requirement is explained in the following scenario

1. The prices in a price list changed at a certain date (say there are prices till end of July and new prices starting from August)

2. The customer sends an order on the 31st of July (hoping that his order will be priced using July prices).

3. The order management team entered the order 1st of August. Order date in the header is 31st of July.

4. The order will get priced using prices of August because pricing date gets defaulted from system date and not order date.
