Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC)

In looking at some generic (non JDE) online EDI documentation, it seems the 830 can be used in one of three ways:

1. A forecast

2. A forecast with a firm commitment to buy in the future.

3. A forecast that is used as an order release, serving the same purpose as a sales order.

Can you confirm which of these scenarios are supported in EnterpriseOne?  I suspect the answer is Scenario 1, but I would like confirmation.
