In JDE Lot controlled item gets hard committed to blank primary location instead of being soft commi

Hi,

We are on JDE 9.1. Recently we applied some ESUs and we are having issues with lot controlled items.

Our setup is as follows:

1. Item is lot controlled (Lot Process Type =3)

2. Primary Location for the item is blank with a default lot of "UNPAINTED"

3. Create a sales order for the default lot. Note that there is sufficient qty available in secondary locations

4. Sales order instead of soft committing in Primary Location, gets hard committed and is back-ordered.

Does anyone use Primary Blank location with default lot like we do? Have you experienced this issue with the most updated ESUs? This wasn't happening until we applied the new ESUs.
