Not able to update the customer relationship in Profile amounts

Hi ,

We are on release 11.5.10 and need to modify one customer account to remove the Related the customer details which are no longer applicable . When I go to the Customers Standard > Profile Relationships and try to update the Customer and uncheck the Reciprocal tab it gives me a message that the field is protected from update and I am not able to change . Can you please let me know how to update these details . I do not see any DQM responsibility in our case for updating the parameters .
