Where can i find the validations used by 'Upload Tax Book Interface' program before it inserts/updat

There is a custom upload tool integration(Web ADI) which loads data into fa_tax_interface table. I wish to incorporate same validation logic in the upload tool which are used in the Upload Tax Book interface program, Can you please suggest where can i find it? Not able to see the interface programs executable as it has a 'spawned' type executable.
