Lot Status update through EDI/BSSV

Hi

Based on the input received from the third party warehouse system, we would like to put some lots on hold.

is it possible to put a lot on hold without actually doing any kind of transaction like adjustments, transfers using EDI or Business services.

Just to put an existing lot hold using any EDI process

please advise
