Is it possible to have a zpool visible to the LDOM read-write and control server read-only?

We have an issue with either network or disk performance (or something) on our T5-4 (Solaris 11) which has a single LDOM (Solaris 10) hosting 4 Oracle Databases (10.2g).  Our support rep indicates the cause of the slowness (345Mbps backup speed while uperf demonstrates speed of 895Mbps) is because our server side is configured auto/auto while our switch side is forced 1000 full duplex (we have 2 aggregates of 4 1G links each).  We are working to get a maintenance window to reconfigure the switch but, I'm concerned that is not our whole issue (uperf is fast) and so looking
