Cannot open files in Autovue if file name contains ()

In Autovue 20.2.3 for electro mechanical professional, if a file name contains () the following error is generated.

ex file name

call config page(TEST).pdf

when trying to open using autovue the following error is generated

This file type (or URL) is not designated to be viewed using AutoVue. To view this attachment, click the filename hyperlink or Get command and then open from the download location.

Is this because autovue does not recognize the special characters?
