Standard Functionality of Patch

Hi Team,

Need Clarification on Standard Functionality of Patch

(1) If a patch is not upgrading a form , does it re-compiles the form  ?  Is this standard functionality that a all forms gets re-compiled irrespective of whether its getting upgraded or not ?

(2) If a  patch is having more than 100 forms , support given an option to re-compile only issue related forms manually post patch application. Customer is not ready to do that because seeing the count of forms in patch and we never know this will work as there might be dependent forms which needs to be re-compiled. Is there any other option available ?
