How to improve Oracle Data Pump Import?

Hi,

I'm planning downgrade Enterprise Edition to Standard Edition. My database has approximately 4 TB, and the import execution takes more time in index creation.

How can i improve this step to decrease downtime?
Can i import entire database before and after only replace the data of tables, for example? The index will be rebuild in this action?
