Issue with Straigt Line Method (Depreciation)

Dear Gurus,

I have an issue with Straigh Line Method:

I loaded an old asset in the system using the INTFC tables,

I have succesfully created the depreciation information, it looks like the system is calculating the right info for the first year using the method and life

set in the Book table, but for the followings years is decreasing the depreciation for the first year and then recalculating the depreciation info for the asset life,

this does not seem right due that I'd expect to see the same depreciation from the beggining to the end of life.
