For parameter entry with multiple values can we configure BIP to use space instead of comma as field

A requirement recently came up where a user wanted to copy paste multiple values into a parameter field and did not want to go in and enter a comma after each value. Is it possible to "tell" BI Publisher to use space as a field separator instead of comma?
