remove data guard configuration from primary rac

We have a primary RAC with db version 10.2.0.4 and Data Guard Broker Configuration to a single instance secondary.

My question is: does the note "How to remove a Data Guard Configuration from Primary Database (Doc ID 733794.1)" also applies if the primary database is a RAC? The note doesn't specify it.

The objective would be to remove all data guard configuration from the primary database and shutdown the secondary server.
