I need to update pay_group_lookup_code on 37000 intercompany invoices from Standard to Intercompany.

I need to update pay_group_lookup_code on 37000 intercompany invoices from Standard to Intercompany. Oracle Support says, there is no API or there is no data fix that can be provided by Oracle. Can i use update script? Any help is appreciated based on your experience.
