WebADI Default DFF

We are loading assets from WebADI. We have setup a DFF with a default value in Oracle in one of the fields, but when we load the asset via webadi the flexfield does not populate in the Mass Additions work bench. If we enter the asset directly through the Asset Workbench the value defaults from the DFF. Would anyone know why this value is not defaulting and how we can make it do so for Assets coming in from WebADI?
