how to embed a grid in a tab control

I'm working on my first PowerBrowse form. I was able to create the PowerBrowse with a grid and then add a subform below it to link to related data. Now I would like to move the grid and subform onto a Tab control. I am unable to figure out how to move the grid onto the tab control.

I tried dragging the grid onto the first tab page, but it won't stay. I had no trouble dragging the subform on the the second tab page and having it "stick".

Next looked to see if I had to insert a new grid onto the tab page, but grid is greyed out.
