Unifier integration with third party applications via web services

I am looking for additional details and examples on how to use unifiers web service API

- what configuration information is needed by a client application (url paths, authentication code, credentials, etc.)

- what client needs to do to pull information out of unifier

I found the integration interface guide, but it is heavy on the methods and light on examples

Primavera P6 has very good examples, but I haven't seen the same for Unifier
