Create Accounting - Cost Management Error

Dear Community,

I'm trying to create accounting from Inventory module using 'Create Accounting - Cost Management' program. I'm running this for an old period, May 2015, but when I executed it, I got the following warning

The GL date 04-MAY-2015 is not in an open or a future enterable period. Please select a valid GL date or open the period.

I have checked and the May 2015 period is open in Inventory module, could you please help me to understand what I'm miising?
